As a Test Automation Engineer Intern, you won't just be watching from the sidelines; you'll be a key player on the team. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to a real-world project from day one, helping to deliver a new feature that will impact our customers. We place a big emphasis on mentorship, so you'll be guided by experienced engineers who are committed to your growth and learning.
In this internship, you will:
Apply your skills to develop, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools.
Collaborate with experienced engineers on the planning and execution of automation test strategies.
Debug and diagnose test failures to identify and report bugs, helping to ensure the reliability of our products
Learn about the software development lifecycle and how a world-class engineering team operates.

About You
We’re looking for a curious and motivated student who is eager to apply their foundational knowledge and jump into an exciting technical role.
Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related degree program.
Anticipated graduation date no earlier than December 2026.
Available for a full-time in-person 12-week internship for the Summer of 2026 in Pleasanton, CA and you will return to your university program after the conclusion of the internship.
Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language like Java or Python gained through coursework or personal projects.
A proven understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Experience with Git or another version control system
Other Qualifications:
A passion for software quality and an eye for detail.
Familiarity with software testing concepts and methodologies.
Knowledge of automated testing tools or frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, or TestNG.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug code.
Eagerness to learn and a collaborative outlook.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
