JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY OF POSITION
This position will serve as a Non-Licensed Team Leader in an Outpatient Clinic with primary responsibilities of supervising a team of Outpatient therapists. The team leader will report to the Clinic Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide administrative oversight for Outpatient therapists to include caseload management, handling of referrals, monitoring productivity, and offering guidance and support (ideally 8-10 administrative staff)
Attend administrative oversight with Clinic Manager
Monitor therapy referrals to make ensure there is a disposition within the time frames
Complete all required reports accurately and in a timely manner
Ensure appropriate onboarding and training for all new staff
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with other clinical staff and leaders within Centerstone in order to better facilitate services for clients
Complete random client satisfaction surveys as directed
Assist in trouble shooting with outpatient therapists to ensure their success in providing services
Develop strategy for coverage of caseloads when an outpatient therapist position is vacant
Conduct staff evaluations at intervals determined for all staff on the team
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level
A Master’s degree is required in one of the following fields: Clinical Psychology, Mental Health (MH) Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and/or a specialization in MH Counseling
License in respective discipline preferred
OR
Applicants with a Master’s degree in a related field (outside of the disciplines listed above) must meet the following criteria:
Completion of at least 24 graduate-level semester hours in psychology, social work, counseling, or other behavioral health-related coursework.
Relevant coursework and work experience in the following areas:
Clinical treatment and treatment planning
Appraisal and assessment of mental disorders
Psychopathology
Use of the DSM for diagnostic purposes within a clinical internship or practicum in a behavioral health setting
Experience
Three years' experience in mental health field as a direct provider of services required
Certification/Licensure
License in respective discipline preferred
