JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Coordinates the daily activity of the DCS Reimbursement Specialists. Oversees all DCS referral data entry for the organization. Monitors the organizations centralized referral email account as well as the DCS Kids track portal for communications and updates and responds appropriately as needed. Analyzes DCS data, reviews billing failures and addresses issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reviews the daily DCS no authorization reports and works to resolve the issues. This includes future scheduled appointments with lapsing authorizations. Must maintain a working knowledge of the DCS contractual agreement.
Generates monthly referral reporting processes.
Reviews service and billing failures as they relate to a DCS service. Works to resolve any issues.
Reviews the billing adjustments and troubleshoots ways to decrease them in the future.
Works with IT to come up with ways to make our system work more efficient.
Reports weekly status updates of the progress of the team workload and assignments.
Analyzes overall DCS data.
Supervises Duties:
Coordinates the daily activities of the DCS Reimbursement Specialists.
Ensures compliance with annual completion of Relias training as required.
Coordinates extra activities during contract years or when DCS makes changes.
