We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team.

This position includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

The primary work location is in Victorville, CA, with oversight of a second location in Yucca Valley, CA.

What you bring to SBHG:

• BBS licensed MFT, LCSW, LPCC, PsyD or PhD

• 2 years-post licensure experience with ability to provide Clinical Supervision to registered interns/associates and/or practicum students in Behavioral Services or Psychology related fields, preferred

• Master's degree in family/child counseling, development or psychology, social services or professional counseling or related social science field.

• Four (4) years direct service experience with the mentally ill, children, adolescents and/or adults, depending on setting preferred.

• BLS CPR/First Aid

• Two (2) years supervisory experience in a health care setting, preferred.

• Must possess a valid CA driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver eligibility policy

How you will make a difference:

Directing and oversight of the staff who provide mental health and support services to clients and their families. Clinical Director may have their own caseload in addition to oversight responsibilities. The Clinical Director acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. This position involves planning, implementation, monitoring, and revision of the clinical treatment program. The Clinical Director represents the agency to county agencies and the community. The Clinical Director may meet with clients, provide direct care and treatment, and may be involved in the client grievance process. The Clinical Director is responsible for overall facility/program management.

This position has the responsibility of and provides direct clinical supervision of BBS licensed staff, ensuring services are in accordance with BBS standards and signs off on BBS hours.

Division/Program Overview:

The Valley Star Crisis Walk-In Center (CWIC) is a voluntary, 24/7 facility that provides rapid mental health assessments and crisis intervention in an unlocked setting. Open to all age groups, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, the center is designed to support anyone experiencing an immediate mental health crisis with a stay of up to 23 hours.

In accordance with California law, the grade for this position is 92,301.66 - 147,682.65. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
