Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or equivalent related field - OR- graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology required.
Master's degree preferred.
Four (4) years supervisory experience in a health care setting required.
Experience with mentally ill clients preferred.
Must possess a valid CA driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver eligibility policy
Valid California LVN or LPT license – Nurse requirement only.
First Aid certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross.
Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years of age
The Administrator is responsible for all administrative tasks, including creating and updating policy and procedures, reviewing risk management and safety systems, overseeing and coordinating quality assurance and utilization review activities. The Administrator supervises all departments (billing, facility, medical records) to direct and facilitate regulatory compliance, and system analyses and reviews. The Administrator is responsible for maintaining positive liaison with the County and all members of the public as well as establishing positive community relations and contracting for needed services. Manages the overall day-to-day operation of the facility.
The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a place where people experiencing a mental health crisis can go to be stabilized. These facilities operate 24/7 to provide crisis stabilization. It can be compared to an Urgent Care Center where people often go for a medical emergency instead of going to the hospital ER.
Crisis stabilization service • Up to 16 adults (ages 18 and up) and four adolescents (ages 13 to 17)
Doctors, nurses, therapists, peer counselors
24/7 Outpatient Crisis Program
Patients may stay up to 24 hours Designed to prevent psychiatric hospitalizations, the CSU will help clients to stabilize and will also provide referrals to other needed services. Transportation is provided as needed.
