Full Service Partnership - TAY - Sacramento

Starting Compensation:

26.99 - 32.38 USD Per Hour

Working Location:

Sacramento: Downtown Center (In-person position)

Working Hours/Shift:

FT, Monday to Friday, AM Shift (8 am to 4:30 pm)

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

Education: 

  • Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology required. 
  • Associate's degree, preferred. 

Experience 

  • One (1) year service experience working as a nurse in a behavioral health field 
  • One (1) year medication administration experience required. 

License or Certification:

  • Valid California LVN or LPT license. 
  • Current CPR certification.

How you will make a difference (job overview):

The LVN / LPT assists with medication support services provided by the psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, or physician’s assistant.  Medication support services may include but are not limited to; med support appointments, taking vitals, medication education, medication management support and/or administration, including injections.  Follow up communication, tracking and documentation for labs, prescriptions and appointments.  provides direct client care including medications and basic medical intervention and education, following standard nursing practices.
