Job Description:

Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst to join the Corporate FP&A Team. The work from this role will be used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. This candidate will also be working with senior leadership.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Ensures that all activities performed align with the vision of Elara Caring’s board of directors, executive team, and the leadership of the Finance team.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and service line leaders to track and forecast trends in the business and their impact on the financial statements.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial and operating metrics in support of company’s regular financial results meetings, sponsor meetings, and operational reviews.
  • Perform business segment reviews by building operational and financial reporting tools to support operations and executive decision making.
  • Assist with the annual budget process, monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting processes, variance analysis, and cost-saving.
  • Review financial data for accuracy and integrity.
  • Prepare spreadsheets and submit reports.
  • Promotes Elara Caring’s philosophy, mission statement and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
  • Maintains patient and staff privacy and confidentiality pursuant to HIPAA Privacy Final Rule.
  • Performs other duties/projects as assigned.

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or closely related field

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Accountant or closely related occupation required
  • 12 months of experience with financial modeling, variance analysis, and financial reporting; corporate financial planning, reporting, and analysis; FP&A, budgeting and cost analysis to support strategic decisions; using Power BI, Power Query, and Excel (including VBA macros

SKILLS: 

  • This position will be interacting with various departments within the company
  • Ability to use operational and financial reporting tools
