Hours: 4:45 pm - 5:15 am / 4 days on - 4 days off

Location: Plant City, FL

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager as a Barcoder, you will be responsible for collaborating and contributing to the production environment within our manufacturing operations.  Safety, quality, productivity, and a strong work ethic are important to the Highland Packaging culture. 

What you will be doing:

• Print out orders running in the application and acquire a label from the lines to place on each order sheet as a sample check, and check for errors.
• Outgoing Barcoder brings the order sheets from their shift to the application manager’s office when leaving.
• Must match the work order number to the written order number on the pallet.
• Responsible for keeping the stretch wrapper and area clean and changing out rolls of stretch wrap. Blow the wrapper down daily to keep the belt clean.
• Communicate with the shift lead in Shipping if there is any issue with the wrapper or with the orders.
• Must be able to push or pull pallets (with a hydraulic pallet jack) weighing 500lbs to 1100lbs.
• Other duties as needed.
