Hours: 5:00 pm - 5:00 am/ 4 days on - 4 days off

Location: Plant City, FL

While reporting to the Supervisor, as the Set-Up Technician, you will be responsible for collaborating and contributing to the production environment within our manufacturing operations.  Safety, quality, productivity, and strong work ethics are important to Highland Packaging’s culture.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• 1) Check on Job status on presses: Ink, paper, plates, dies, boxes (need 150 made at end of shift), acetate, and cores
• 2) Demount and put away all jobs that are finished
• 3) Open pallets of stock for Pressman
• 4) Move pallets to the staging area when jobs are finished
• 5) Keep up with the compactor and the compactor area cleaned
• 6) Move blue bins when full
• 7) Keep the press area clean, trash, pallets, plastic, etc.
• 8) Check plates and dies, if cut, put in the plate room to remake, do not throw cut ones out
• 9) Help Pressman with changeovers
• 10) Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area

• Read and comprehend standard work instructions, math, and measuring
• Arrival at work on time with a strong attendance record
• An individual looking to advance with a high school diploma or GED
