Overall responsibility to coordinate, support, train, assist and facilitate all aspects of the quality system. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinates and participates in activities as outlined in the quality management system.
  • Supports site management in efforts to achieve customer requirements and quality objectives.
  • Compiles, analyzes, and reports quality and operational performance metrics.  
  • Responds to quality issues from all levels.
  • Performs internal quality audits as necessary and participate in third-party audits. 
  • Conducts or assures first piece validations are performed at the plant.
  • Perform other quality related activities such as inspection, testing, gauge calibration or sampling of materials.
  • Manage document control and retention activities in IQMS, including SOPs, forms, and work instructions.
  • Scan quality documents into designated folders, ensure current revisions are accessible, and maintain Mastercard files.
  • Provide guidance to employees on proper document usage, recordkeeping, and compliance with quality procedures.
  • Support validation of product and process specifications at the plant level.
  • Create Certificate of Analysis and Certificate of Conformance for customers.
  • Reviews incoming raw material and supports the disposition of the materials.
  • Quarantine nonconforming products in accordance with the inspection control plan.
  • Investigate customer feedback, RMAs, and other quality-related events to identify root causes and corrective actions.
  • Facilitate special projects, including qualifications, testing activities, and documentation of results.
  • Communicate the company’s quality system requirements effectively to both customers and internal staff.
  • Analyze SPC data to identify trends and recommend improvement opportunities based on findings.
  • Carries out additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support departmental and organizational objectives.

This position is located out of our Huntley, IL Facility and 100% onsite

  • 3-5 years experience
  • Good verbal and written communications skills; proficiency in the following software: Word, Power Point, Excel
