Talent Acquisition Coordinator – Early Careers
Contract: Fixed – 6 months
JOB PROFILE DESCRIPTION
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS
The Early Careers Talent Acquisition team at Kainos are responsible for the end-to-end recruitment of the business’s junior hiring needs. Based in locations across the UK&I, EMEA and North America, the team focus on driving campus recruitment activities and delivering a best-in-class candidate experience.
About you
You are passionate about giving young people from different backgrounds equal access to opportunities to develop their careers and you know how important the right attraction strategy is, in influencing this success. Creative and self-motivated, you enjoy building relationships with others through university engagement or wider student networks to promote Kainos as a global employer of choice. You love partnering with the business to educate them on what young people want and how to create a positive candidate experience from attraction through to onboarding.
Your role will focus on coordination around the recruiting and selection of the best diverse talent across disciplines such as Software Engineering, Testing, Data, Artificial Intelligence and Technology Consulting and Services. As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator in Kainos, you will be responsible for providing high quality administrative services and processes that support the core business at Kainos.
This role will be accountable for delivering high quality work in a timely fashion in line with company policies and process guidelines with limited supervision.
You will be working as part of a team to effectively deliver support for the core business.
MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3-year experience in a relevant working environment with an approachable, mature, collaborative style.
Ability to carry out responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures and processes.
Demonstrate commercial awareness and understanding of project and business dynamics.
Effective personal time management and planning skills to deliver a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in tight timeframes/targets.
Ability to work efficiently, make sensible decisions under pressure and prioritise your workload in a fast-paced environment
A self-starter who can work on their own initiatives with minimal supervision Effective verbal and written communication skills with both staff and external stakeholders We all work in teams here in Kainos – a proven ability of strong team skills, including taking direction from others, is crucial
Experience with Office 365 Suite or equivalent
DESIRABLE
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplined team.
Ability to identify and communicate areas for improvement within the team and business.
Experience with JIRA, Microsoft teams, SharePoint or Workday
Travel expectations: At Kainos, we work with a diverse range of clients and some of our projects require travel. If travel were required, we will endeavour to keep this to a minimum and ensure sufficient notice is provided.
