As our Regional Account Representative for Engineering Plastics in the South East Europe region, you'll be at the forefront of our growth strategy while providing exceptional sales support that helps both our customers and Covestro succeed.

What You'll Do

  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and connecting them with solutions from our comprehensive product portfolio
  • Serve as the primary point of contact, helping resolve issues related to new projects, product specifications, and material availability
  • Gather and analyze valuable market intelligence on customers, competitors, pricing trends, and industry developments
  • Contribute local insights to help shape our sales strategies and marketing plans
  • Monitor relevant local regulations that might impact our business
  • Represent Covestro at trade fairs and in local industry associations

Who You'll Work With

  • Externally: Customers at all levels, industry stakeholders, value chain partners, universities, industry associations, and government departments
  • Internally: Country Cluster Manager, Account Managers, Key Account Managers, Commercial Operations teams, Supply Chain Center, and Application Development

What You Bring

  • Commercial education or degree in business, mechanical engineering, or chemical discipline
  • 5-7 years of business experience, including sales experience
  • Strong managerial skills: critical thinking, organization, decisiveness, and sound judgment
  • Ability to work with diverse cultures and willingness to travel
  • Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Fluency in local language and English
  • Proficiency with MS-Office, SAP, and CRM systems
  • Technical knowledge to consult customers on products and applications
  • Ideally you have experience in a similar role at an international company
