About the Unit 

PTCA (Angioplasty Recovery) is a 14-bed advanced cardiovascular interventional unit  that provide pre & post procedural care for acute cardiology patients: cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology which includes ablations, pacemaker insertions, ICD placement, and TAVRs. We also do Watchmans and Mitraclips.

Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Manager will have responsibility for the overall operations of the nursing unit to include financial performance, service quality, clinical outcomes, quality improvement, employee satisfaction, and patient satisfaction. The Clinical Manager of the Nursing Department will have direct reporting responsibility to a designated Nursing Director.

Additional Job Description:

Required Qualifications

  • Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited college or University

Preferred Qualifications

  • MSN or MHA preferred.
  • Preferred certification in relevant field: CCMC (Commission for Case Management Certification), ANCC RN-BC (Board Certification in Nursing Case Management, or ACM (Accredited Case Manager Certification).
