Job Description:

The physical therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients. In this role you will perform patient evaluation, development and implementation of an appropriate treatment plan, delivery of treatment services, and comprehensive discharge planning. 

Area of Focus:

  • Multi-discipline therapy team to evaluate and treat pediatric patients age 0-21 with developmental, neurologic, orthopedic, and medically complex diagnoses.

  • Opportunity to be a part of a growing program and develop leadership skills, marketing skills, grant-writing skills, and work with vendors and referring providers to provide comprehensive patient care.

Additional Job Description:

Education:
• BS/MS/DPT degree in physical therapy required

• DPT degree preferred.
• Valid PT License Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy

Certification

• CPR, BLS through the American Heart Association.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one year experience as an outpatient pediatric Physical Therapist (preferred)

  • Pediatric certification/specialist or interest in attaining certification/specialty

  • Knowledgeable and experienced in neurodiversity-affirming care practices

  • Knowledgeable and experienced in working with patient population with linguistic and cultural diversity
