SUMMARY:   The purpose of the Chemical Water Tech is to maintain relevant records, complete water sampling, and maintain a safe and clean environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Complete daily water plant paperwork and work orders and communicate with Maintenance account chemical inventory and orders.
• Get a sample of the water in various places throughout the plant.
• Test each sample of the water with the testing process.
• Log the test results.
• Must be able to work around chemicals.
• Employee is also responsible for using proper technique and any other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will not have supervisory responsibility.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Required
  • None

• Preferred
  • Previous food processing experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
