Position Summary and Purpose
The Revenue Cycle Business Partner is responsible for providing operational and analytical support to the revenue cycle management team. This individual will also collaborate with clinical operations, IT, affiliated hospitals, and the Central Billing Office to improve revenue process efficiency and performance, as directed by management.
Essential Functions:
Financial Analysis
• Provide in-depth analysis of data, such as AR, denials, and reimbursement trends, to support decisions impacting revenue cycle performance.
• Communicate, in oral and written formats, results of this analysis with appropriate stakeholders through dashboards, ad-hoc reporting, modeling tools, presentations, or other methods.
• Develop tools and methodologies to monitor, analyze, and forecast revenue cycle trends.
• Development and evaluation of leading financial indicators, including benchmark performance through FPSC Revenue Cycle Suite, where possible.
Operational Analysis
• Develop in-depth understanding and documentation of ULP revenue cycle processes.
• Identify opportunity areas to streamline revenue cycle processes and develop strategies for execution with the revenue management team.
• Provide support for the implementation of new revenue cycle processes and procedures.
• Assist the revenue cycle management team with revenue cycle improvement projects.
• Make data-supported recommendations for improving revenue cycle performance.

Job Requirements

Education:
• Undergraduate degree in business administration, or related field, required; or equivalent experience required
Experience:
• Experience with financial data analysis and forecasting

• Must maintain valid driver’s license and be able to provide reliable mode of transportation in order to attend meetings and conduct other business off-site at times
• Knowledge of general medical billing processes
