Position Overview:
Receive and accurately route phone calls through the organization’s telephone system in a timely, professional, and friendly manner. Must be able to handle a high volume of calls while maintaining careful attention to detail and accuracy. Must be reliable as this is a high-performance role. The Pharmacy 340B Coordinator acts as a subject matter expert and provides oversight to all 340B Program Covered Entities, ensuring that the program is maximally utilized by all Covered Entities. Payment Posting assist in zero payments responsibility for accurately reviewing and posting zero-payment remittance advice into the EMR system.
Essential Functions:
Answer incoming calls for Pullman Regional Hospital
Efficiently connect callers to the appropriate extension
Provide exceptional customer service
Maintain accurate 340B Pharmacy Roster for qualified Physicians.
Conduct audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the matches for all Pharmacy items in the solution provided.
Identify eligible patients, ensuring that medications are dispensed appropriately and fine-tuning program with policy’s and guidelines both operationally as well as clinically.
Evaluate patient eligibility for qualified and non-qualified patients in mixed-use areas and clinics by reviewing patient medical records, insurance plans, and, if applicable, hospital status.
Review and post zero-payment remittance into the EMR system.
Analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and denials to determine correction action (Write off, adjustments and or follow-ups.)
Verify that all payer adjustments and denial codes are entered accurately by payer guidelines.
Ensure all zero-payment transactions are reconciled and documented.
Communicate with Revenue team and flag issues or trends related to denials or non-payments.

Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy
Required Education, Licensure, Certifications, & Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Education, Certifications, & Experience:
Prior experience with a switchboard or multi-line phone service
Physical Requirements:
Sitting: 90%.
Standing/Walking: 10%.
Occasional lifting/carrying of supplies and equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
