JOB DESCRIPTION

Reports to: Senior Manager Compliance Monitoring CED
Principal Accountabilities and Duties:
• Monitor compliance procedures to ensure that operational procedures, internal 
controls, and regulatory requirement are carried out; that appropriate records 
are maintained and available to evidence compliance and protect the company; 
and that a pro-active approach is followed to ensure issues are identified. 
• Undertake an ongoing compliance monitoring program in the assigned CED 
region and conduct appropriate audits of client and candidate files, both 
electronic and hard copy to measure compliance with industry Regulations and 
Legal requirements. 
• Prepare reports documenting the outcome of the audits. Prepare clear
communication and timely insights to senior business stakeholders. Follow up all 
remedial actions to ensure these have been effectively implemented and 
document the outcomes as necessary. 
• Organize and conduct operational compliance training as required and provide 
technical guidance on discreet areas of compliance and promote best practices 
across all regional operations. Effective collaboration and support should be 
provided to the relevant staff (field, district office, management, and corporate 
services), focusing on solutions, encouraging best practice, and demonstrating 
effective business processes. Focus on improve compliance results, taking a 
proactive approach to ensure any compliance discrepancies are identified and 
corrective measures are applied as soon as possible. 
• Conduct special audits and set up ongoing compliance monitoring and risk 
management on request of other departments.
• Support and coordinate the management of Client Audit Requests in the relevant 
CED region.
• Develop a sound understanding of all applicable Company Policies to ensure and 
guide staff that their daily working activities meet the Company’s business 
requirements and standards which adhere to the Company’s philosophy of Ethic’s 
First.

• A key requirement for the role is that the individual can maintain a professional, 
independent relationship with operational business stakeholders to ensure the 
integrity of the position and the reputation of the Legal/Compliance Department 
are not compromised. 
Profile:
• Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative.
• Strong team player with good organizational and planning skills. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal/written communication in French & 
English.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail. 
• IT skills (Microsoft applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 
• Proven track record of delivery to deadlines. 
• Knowledge of the staffing industry and/or experience of working within a 
regulatory environment is a plus.
