JOB PURPOSE
The Mobile Applications Developer is responsible for the overall success of each project assigned. They will implement computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems and designing and testing standards and solutions. This role will develop information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions. Additionally, this position will work closely with other departments to make sure each project is performed with quality, professionalism, and completed in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Analyzes and documents client business requirements, as well as processes and communicates requirements by constructing conceptual data and process models
Design and build applications for the iOS or Android platform
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
Maintain positive rapport with all clients.
Gather requirements and provide accurate and realistic project milestones and timelines for completion.
Successfully perform any coding tests or challenges as required.
Maintain open communication via phone, text, and email on a daily basis.
Complete daily project progress summaries
Suggest new features and expansions of existing apps to improve performance and usability.
Deliver on time as discussed and clearly communicate any changes in deadlines as soon as possible
Documents and creates system specifications from user requirements.
Maintains regular and predictable attendance
Consistently demonstrates compliance with HIPAA regulations, professional conduct, and ethical practice.
Works to encourage and promote Company culture throughout the organization
Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required: Experience with either React Native or Xamarin or both
Required: C# for the backend
Required: At least 1 application published to the one of the App Stores; Displays familiarity with the process
Android Preferences:
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
Comfortable with Git and source control
IOS Preferences:
Proficient with Swift and Objective-C (knowledge and hands on), and Cocoa Touch
Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
Experience with Design Patterns such as MVC, Singleton, etc.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
Familiarity with 3rd Party API integrations such as Facebook, Dropbox, Instagram, Twitter, Google Drive, Bluetooth, Keychain, etc.
Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools {{such as Instruments and Shark, depending on project needs}}
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Knack for benchmarking and optimization
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, Mercurial or SVN}}
Familiarity with continuous integration
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related fields

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Moderate amount of walking, sitting, and writing. Moderate to significant amount of stress in meeting deadlines and dealing with day-to-day events in the execution of job duties. Need for flexibility and adaptability to change. Candidate must be self-disciplined and a self-starter and able to work independently with a flexible work schedule.
