Job Description:

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for all aspects of inventory control such as cycle counting, aging inventories, and obsolete packaging disposal. Prepare and complete accurate, timely documentation and transactions that follow established protocols for inventory control. Support all manufacturing activities as requested including disposition of customer materials and locating materials. 

DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Inventory responsibility

Generate cycle counts in accordance with the schedule.

  • Audit inventory in all locations per the cycle count schedule.
  • Assist with all inventory questions and concerns.
  • Lead year-end physical inventory and other special inventories throughout the year.

Monitor and assist with follow up disposition for aging/expiration items. Responsible for all the coordination for customer requested disposition items and any other related inventory requests.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required).

  • High School Diploma Required.
  • Two years prior experience in supply chain preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications is required.
  • Basic math skills i.e., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages.
  • Willing to work in a team environment and contribute to group goals.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, time management, and problem-solving skills are desired.
  • Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
