Position Start Date: August 17, 2026
Required Degree:
PhD in a humanistic field with evidence of interdisciplinary training or scholarly/teaching interests.
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience: Our department has emphases in Art History and Visual Culture, Literature, Film and Media, Cultural History, and Popular Culture; candidates with strengths in any of these areas are encouraged to apply.
Duties/Expectations:
Duties include teaching general education and Interdisciplinary Humanities program courses; advising and mentoring undergraduate and MA students; and providing service to the department, college, university and broader community.
Teach undergraduate general education and Interdisciplinary Humanities program courses.
