Position Start Date: January 2, 2026

 

Required Degree: Master's degree in Organ. Doctorate degree in Organ Preferred.

The required degree must be completed by the start date. 

 

Experience: Minimum of three years of experience teaching at the college level.

 

Duties/Expectations: 

  • Teach organ classes: 115, 160R, 260R, 465, and 591
  • A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
  • Serve as a role model for students
  • Guide students through challenges
  • Help students perform with confidence and testimony
  • Inspire life-long learning
  • Teach private lessons to organ majors and non-majors, including graduate students
  • Serve on juries and graduate committees
  • Play organ for university events as needed
