WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS POSITION

The Student Affairs Office Manager provides leadership and administrative oversight for the Student Affairs Office. This role is responsible for managing daily office operations, supporting Student Affairs programs and events, and ensuring a welcoming, efficient, and professional environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The Office Manager plays a key role in coordinating schedules, supervising office staff, managing logistics, and supporting the broader mission of the law school.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage daily front office operations and workflow

  • Provide front-line customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors

  • Supervise, train, schedule, and mentor office and student employees

  • Maintain office operations, communications, calendars, and supplies

  • Coordinate travel, expense reports, and logistics for the Dean and Student Affairs activities

  • Assist with reservation systems and event scheduling

  • Coordinate logistics for Student Affairs, student organization, and competition events

  • Support student programs, exam administration, and classroom/testing accommodations

  • Oversee student organization budgets in compliance with university policies

  • Handle confidential information with discretion

 

WHAT QUALIFIES YOU FOR THIS ROLE?

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Three years of relevant administrative or office experience


Preferred:  

  • Two years of experience in higher education

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • Professional demeanor and excellent customer service

  • Experience supervising student employees

  • Budget and event coordination experience

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Commitment to the mission and values of the Law School and University

Pay Level: 47

Typical Starting Pay Range: $19 - $24

Actual compensation based on education and experience
