MJMG Merchant Walk Square in Charlottesville, VA is looking to hire a Medical Assistant.
Up to 5K Sign on Bonus for eligible candidates.
This position is 36 hours per week. 4 days a week schedule and must be flexible to work anywhere from 8:00am to 7:00pm.
The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Education
- High School or Equivalent
Certification/Licensure
Must obtain any of the following licenses within 9 months of hired:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- EMT Basic Certification (EMT) within the state(s) of practice.
