Sentara Heart Hospital located on the Campus of Sentara Norfolk General in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a Registered Nurse Traveler for the Advanced Heart Failure Unit!
$70 per hour
Temp Full time Night Shift
Must be skilled with titrating drips and experience related to Hemodynamics.
Education
Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
Certification/Licensure
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
Experience
Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care Cardiac hospital RN experience
Department Overview:
•24 bed unit that provides high acuity cardiac care to patients with severe heart failure, pre/post heart transplant, and pulmonary hypertension.
•Work with high tech equipment such as mechanical circulatory support including ventricular assist devices (LVAD) and telemetry monitors.
•Environment relies on 24 hours consistent communication and intricate interdisciplinary teamwork skills.
•Nurses handle 3-4 patients on this unit based on acuity level.
