Overview

The Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

REQUIREMENTS

- Certification for MA

- previous MA experience

- capable of providing above-average customer service, great teamwork

- DEPENDABLE - at work on time for scheduled hours and functions in a high

capacity

Education
High School or Equivalent

CERTIFICATION/ LICENSURE - (ONE) REQUIRED
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), EMT Basic Certification (EMT) within the state(s) of practice.
