Application Services Manager - School of Medicine
The Application Services Manager provides oversight, coordination, and operational leadership for specialized applications supporting the BYU School of Medicine. In addition to managing application needs and coordinating implementation, this manager is responsible for mentoring student employees who support academic and administrative systems.
Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, this position defines application requirements, ensures smooth operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of medical education systems—including admissions, virtual learning environments, collaboration platforms, process automation tools, and integrations with the University Student Information System. The manager is also responsible for developing powerful, custom applications to address needs that cannot be met by purchased SaaS solutions, ensuring these applications are tailored to the School of Medicine’s unique requirements.
