Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA, is hiring an Environmental Services Technician III to specialize in floor care. This is a full-time, evening shift role with rotating weekends.
Hours:
Monday - Friday: 3pm - 11:30pm

Overview
Responsible for the maintenance of floors. Practices safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, various equipment and cleaning applications to include: mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping and polishing. Cross train to EVS Tech I competencies in order to provide cleaning duties, when necessary.
Education
High School Grad or Equivalent
1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience will be accepted in lieu of High School Education
Experience
Previous housekeeping/ESD experience (Required)
Must have previous experience with floor care to include: stripping and recoating floors using the proper equipment; basic knowledge of how to use a floor scrubber machine and how to use a side by side machine to scrub a floor or strip a floor and then use the necessary equipment to lay down wax to refinish the floor (Required)
