Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Endoscopy Unit is currently hiring a Full-Time, Day Shift Endoscopy Technician!
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5 shifts/week (8-hour shifts, 0730–1700)
Call Requirements: 1-2 Weekday call shift 1700-0700 & 1 weekend a month
Reports To: Endoscopy Supervisor
Position Summary:
The Full-Time Endoscopy Technician supports the Endoscopy Unit at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, assisting in complex procedures and contributing to safe, efficient care across three specialized service lines: Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, and Otolaryngology (ENT). This technician plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality clinical and technical support during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including advanced GI interventions not performed elsewhere in the region.
