Days, 9:00am-5:00pm, with rotating on call weekends/holidays
The Senior Patient Access Representative is responsible and accountable for the daily operations of one or more areas. Supervises staff including coordinating quality and customer service activities; assisting in the development and monitoring of the department budget; coordinating the purchasing and payroll processes; serving as a technical resource to team members; and performing work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist staff. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and developing staff with the goal of developing a highly effective work team. Serves as chief retention officer for areas of responsibility.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Level Degree
Equivalent experience in Registration may be considered in lieu of Bachelors degree.
Experience Required:
1 year of healthcare experience
Certifications Required:
Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) OR Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) required to be obtained within 12 months.
