Marmon is now seeking a proactive and analytically-minded AI Technology Solutions Intern to join our Corporate HR team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of HR at Marmon by exploring, assessing, and recommending cutting-edge AI technologies. The intern will play a key role in identifying how AI can optimize HR processes, improve efficiency, enhance the employee experience, and provide valuable insights for strategic decision-making. This role will involve research, data analysis, collaboration with HR stakeholders, and the development of clear, actionable recommendations.

What You'll Do:

  • Research and Analysis:  Conduct in-depth research on emerging AI technologies and their applications within the HR landscape (e.g., generative AI for content creation, predictive analytics for talent retention, AI-powered chatbots for employee support, automation of routine HR tasks)
  • Needs Assessment:  Collaborate with various HR functions (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, etc.) to understand current pain points, identify opportunities for AI integration, and gather requirements for potential solutions
  • Solution Evaluation:  Evaluate potential AI vendors and solutions based on functionality, scalability, security, cost-effectiveness, ease of integration, and alignment with Marmon's strategic objectives
  • Proof-of-Concept Support:  Assist in the development and execution of small-scale proof-of-concept projects for promising AI tools, gathering data and feedback on their effectiveness
  • Recommendation Development:  Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations outlining findings, recommended AI solutions, potential benefits, risks, and implementation roadmaps
  • Documentation:  Document research findings, solution evaluations, and project details in a clear and organized manner

What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as:  Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration with a focus on Technology/Analytics, Human Resources with a strong interest in technology
  • Foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills:  Ability to analyze complex information, identify key insights, and develop practical solutions
  • Excellent research skills:  Ability to gather, synthesize, and critically evaluate information from various sources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills:  Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proactive and self-motivated:  Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Curiosity and a passion for technology and its application in business
  • Familiarity with HR processes and systems is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
  • Basic programming skills (e.g., Python) for data analysis or scripting are also a plus

Pay Range:

26.67 - 40.01
