JOB SUMMARY

Cerrowire, a trusted leader in the cable manufacturing sector for over 100 years, is expanding its sales department to include an experienced sales analyst to provide insights into daily, weekly, and monthly sales history that will work closely with our retail and electrical distribution sales teams. 

Cerrowire has an exciting job opportunity for a Sales Analyst to join our Sales Team!

The Sales Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Cerrowire’s retail and electrical distribution sales teams through strategic data analysis and insights. This position is responsible for gathering, interpreting, and presenting sales data that drives key business decisions and improves overall sales performance. By providing timely and actionable reporting, this role supports forecasting, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: bachelor's degree in business administration, data analysis, finance, statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in sales analysis, business intelligence, or related roles is often preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to collect, interpret, and analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and draw actionable insights.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in data analysis tools and software, including:
    • Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, functions, data manipulation)
    • CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
    • SQL
    • Data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills for presenting findings to various stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, conduct root cause analysis, and propose effective solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Other: Strong work ethic, initiative, collaboration, and a customer-focused mindset are also highly valued. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS AND DUTIES

  • Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing sales data from various sources (PowerBi, spreadsheets, etc.).
  • Creating and maintaining reports and models to track sales performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Developing and supporting sales forecasts and plans based on data analysis.  Participate in monthly SIOP meetings.
  • Identifying sales trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the sales process.
  • Collaborating with retail and distribution sales, marketing, and other departments to align strategies and optimize performance.
  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends.
  • Communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Maintain customer and rep dashboards with sales reports, rebates, and on-time in full performance.

SALARY RANGE: $60,000 - $80,000
