About the Role
Cerrowire has an exciting job opportunity for a Senior Director of Strategic Accounts to join our Sales Team!
Our National and most strategic Distributors and Contractors are the primary responsibility of the Senior Director of Strategic Accounts, who leads their development and management at the executive level. This role will own the strategy, execution, and growth of strategic national accounts, ensuring alignment with Cerrowire’s business objectives while driving long-term revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
The Director will act as the senior relationship leader to major national distribution partners and large national contractors, building trusted partnerships and leading joint business initiatives.
This team will work closely with Regional Sales Managers across three distribution markets, and will also partner with independent sales representatives in the region. You will serve as a brand ambassador, driving specification and preference in the contractor market to strengthen Cerrowire’s position nationally.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of the national strategic accounts strategy across distribution and contractor channels.
- Establish joint business planning processes to align growth targets, key performance indicators, and long-term objectives.
- Coordinate across regions to identify opportunities and ensure effective distribution channel execution.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with senior leaders at top accounts.
- Define and manage a distribution channel footprint optimized for growth.
Revenue & Market Growth
- Deliver account volume and profitability growth: Drive sales expansion and deeper penetration within strategic national accounts.
- Build the contractor pipeline: Identify and secure large-scale project opportunities in collaboration with regional sales teams.
- Negotiate and manage strategic agreements, pricing programs, and incentive structures with national partners.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with regional sales directors to ensure seamless execution of strategic national account strategies in local markets.
- Work closely with marketing, product management, and operations to develop account-specific programs and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide executive sponsorship for strategic account initiatives, supporting field teams in execution.
Market & Industry Engagement
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and evolving customer needs to refine strategies.
- Represent Cerrowire at distributor and contractor leadership meetings, trade shows, and industry associations.
- Serve as a thought leader and advisor to both customers and Cerrowire’s leadership team.
Performance Management
- Conduct quarterly executive business reviews with strategic partners to evaluate performance against the plan and program goals.
- Define success metrics and utilize customer relationship management tools for team selling, account management, tracking revenue, and pipeline activity.
- Provide reporting and insights to Cerrowire’s leadership team.
This position is remote.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive sales and leadership experience, with at least 5 years managing strategic, distribution, or national accounts in the electrical or construction markets.
- Proven track record of managing C-suite level customer relationships and delivering measurable growth.
- Strong knowledge of distribution channels and contractor engagement.
- Excellent negotiation, strategic planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and influence across a matrixed organization.
- Willingness to travel nationally (50%+).

Salary Range: $180,000 - $200,000
