Position Summary: 

The Fastener Sorting Operator is responsible for inspecting and sorting fasteners to ensure compliance with established quality standards. This role performs visual defect checks, and ensures finished products are properly packaged and labeled for shipment. The operator is also accountable for maintaining a safe and organized work area in accordance with company standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections to identify defects such as cracks, chips, or dimensional variances.
• Package, label, and prepare finished goods for shipment with accuracy.
• Document and report non-conforming parts to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
• Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company quality procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to identify defects quickly.
• Basic computer knowledge for data entry and reporting.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds regularly.
• Manual dexterity to operate sorting equipment and handle small parts.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with loud noise and required PPE.
