About the Role
As a Senior Applications Analyst – SAP SD/LE at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the SAP Order to Cash and Logistics Execution processes within our enterprise systems. This position requires deep SAP application expertise, strong analytical skills, and a customer-focused mindset. You’ll contribute directly to operational stability, business process efficiency, and continuous improvement across our SAP environment.

You will collaborate with SAP end users, technical teams, and business stakeholders to resolve issues, design solutions, and deliver high-impact support. This is a hybrid role based in Chicago, IL, with on-site expectations at our corporate headquarters.

What You 'll Do:

• Daily support activities include helpdesk call support, create production tickets, triage incidents and log the information, communicate to business users via phone, email or in person.
• Independently prioritize and resolve production issues related to incident break-fixes and enhancement requests as an SME in SAP Sales & Distribution and Logistic Execution area.
• Coordinate with SAP end users, SAP functional team and/or technical team for requirement gathering, troubleshoot and solutioning.
• Create functional specification documents for application development objects, work with development during DEV testing, prepare test scripts and support users during UAT.
• Design, consult and support security requirements around SAP SD processes.
• Configure for the appropriate solution, prepare necessary documentation including testing.
• Work on moderately complex tasks to enhance existing solution; identifying, evaluating, recommending options and implementing new solution.
• Prioritize and resolve customer requests independently, share SAP best practices, industry knowledge and personal expertise by educating team, cross functional team and customers.
• Develop professional and productive relationships within business units, IT team, and SSC.
• Utilize query and reporting tools to provide flexible and timely delivery of support to end users, act as SME to business users for solution proposal and training.
• May be required to work off-hours or weekends to support business in case of business critical failures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in multiple full life cycle implementations and support in SAP SD and LE modules, expert in Order to Cash value stream.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience, Masters degree in any discipline is preferred.
• Independently work with development in creating functional design documents, provide any necessary information from functional side, conduct testing to validate and verify the changes.
• Experience building and supporting (SD and LE area) of transfer processing, pricing, drop shipment, consignment, credit management, tax procedures and rebate processing
• Strong knowledge and expertise in SAP SD and LE master data, SD Billing Process, Inter-company billing process, transfer pricing, SD Pricing Procedure and SD tax process.
• Detail knowledge of SAP SD integration to any other SAP functional areas such as FI, CO, MM, PP etc., excellent trouble shoot, problem solving skills, detail oriented and self-directed.
• Configure and customize in SAP SD and LE to support our daily production tickets and small to medium enhancement request.
• Contribute the IT teams and SAP end users by facilitating the knowledge sharing, training sessions and develop training documents.
• Contribute project team from SAP SD and LE side.
• Strong customer service skills, team player, collaborative and flexible.
