About the Role
 

As a Field Supervisor – Low Voltage Systems at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in overseeing low voltage coordination and installation across multiple construction projects in Arizona and Texas. This position requires strong leadership, technical oversight, and exceptional communication skills, and offers the opportunity to contribute directly to project execution excellence, safety compliance, and schedule integrity.

You will collaborate with site-specific superintendents, subcontractors, project managers, and plant personnel, ensuring that quality standards are met, schedules are maintained, and installations align with design and compliance requirements. This is a field-based role with required onsite presence at our Arizona and Texas site operations.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic construction environments, demonstrates proactive problem-solving, and leads with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
 

What You’ll Do

• Leads and mentors onsite low voltage teams, promoting high-performance and collaboration
• Provides daily supervision of structured cabling, CCTV, access control, and other system installations
• Oversees internal crews and subcontractors, ensuring coordination and adherence to project schedules
• Inspects installations to ensure code compliance and alignment with specifications and standards
• Reviews shop drawings and documentation to verify accurate field execution
• Collaborates with Project Managers to align work with design intent, budget, and schedule
• Maintains accurate site documentation including daily reports, RFIs, and inspection records
• Coordinates procurement and delivery of equipment and materials to prevent delays
• Conducts safety walks and enforces safety compliance across the job site
• Liaisons with inspectors and municipal authorities for timely inspections and approvals

Who You Are

• 7+ years of experience supervising or managing low voltage installations
• Strong knowledge of TIA/EIA standards and BICSI best practices
• Proficiency with structured cabling systems, CCTV, access control, and networking fundamentals
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and ensure work aligns with design specifications
• Experienced in MS Office (Word, Excel), scheduling tools, and field reporting systems
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Physically capable of lifting 60 lbs., climbing, bending, and working with tools as needed
• Reliable and consistent onsite attendance required
