About the Role


This position involves providing technical assistance and troubleshooting/repair of SEW-EURODRIVE mechanical equipment which may include frequent travel to customer sites.

Pay Range: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Top 5 actual task:

  • Receive and execute customer requests for mechanical field service primarily in the Southeastern US, but other locations in the US sales territory as well.

  • Generate field service reports and order documentation for associated field service trips.

  • Assist customers with general technical inquiries.

  • Evaluate electromechanical products returned for warranty analysis, document inspections/complaints, generate reports, and administer warranty decisions in accordance with SEW-EURODRIVE established procedures.

  • Assess each situation and do not perform any tasks which s/he feels is unsafe, on which s/he has not received training, or engage in any unsafe work practices.  Report any unsafe condition to his/her manager.

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
