The MRI Technologist Lead is responsible for daily operations of the MRI Department, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA). The MRI Technologist Lead must maintain a high standard of medical ethics at all times. The position requires initiative and independent judgment, and self-motivation to increase knowledge of the field, disease processes, and new procedures as they evolve. The MRI Technologist Lead serves as the first line supervisor of the MRI Department. This individual assures the daily operations of are performed in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner in the absence of the Radiology Manager.
