The Global Liquidity team manages over $400BN in assets under management across domestic 2a-7 money market funds, offshore UCITS money market funds, domestic ultra-short bond funds, and separately managed accounts.  The Liquidity Platform group is a growing business within Liquidity that is focused on bringing the latest technology solutions and services to our clients.  This includes the expanding cash management investment portal and related cash management technologies.

Overview:  The Liquidity Platform Specialist will work on the Global Liquidity Platform team on a wide range of responsibilities associated with the Liquidity technology platform.  The Liquidity technology platform includes the CashInvest by Morgan Stanley money market portal and other technology applications and products that institutional cash investors utilize daily to support their cash investment and cash management processes.

Role Overview

The Liquidity Platform Specialist will join the Global Liquidity Platform team and support a wide range of responsibilities tied to the management, enhancement, and client delivery of Liquidity technology solutions. This role is central to supporting the CashInvest by Morgan Stanley portal and related tools that institutional cash investors rely on for trade execution, reporting, and cash management workflows.

The ideal candidate brings strong client-facing skills, an operational mindset, and a passion for improving technology-driven liquidity solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

Client Onboarding & Relationship Management

  • Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new Liquidity technology platform clients.
  • Serve as clients’ day-to-day point of contact for platform-related needs, including:
    • General platform functionality questions
    • Reporting and data requests
    • Trading or settlement questions/issues in coordination with operations partners
    • Account updates, permissioning, and access-related troubleshooting

Business Partnership & Internal Coordination

  • Collaborate with the Liquidity sales team and sales desk on client conversations and requests involving the Liquidity platform.
  • Work closely with operational teams, technology partners, and external vendors to resolve issues and deliver best-in-class service.
  • Support the Head of Platform Development on strategic initiatives, business expansion opportunities, and cross-functional projects.

Platform Management & Enhancements

  • Own daily responsibilities related to platform maintenance and enhancements, including:
    • Partnering with third-party technology vendors on new feature implementations
    • Raising, tracking, and managing platform issues and enhancements
    • Coordinating with internal technology teams on system updates, testing, and platform improvements
  • Build and maintain internal reporting and analytics related to platform usage and performance.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to help shape future platform capabilities.

Qualifications

Required

  • Previous experience in Asset Management or a closely related financial services environment.
  • Direct client service or client relationship management experience.
  • Highly detail-oriented self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of or experience with liquidity, money market products, or institutional cash management platforms.
  • Familiarity with trading workflows, settlement processes, or financial operations.
  • Experience working with technology platforms, vendors, or product development teams.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be $70,000 - $125,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
