Your Role:

General purpose is to review and reconcile charges of all cath lab visits/encounters.  In detail, a daily report in XPER/EPIC is used to pull all encounters from the prior day.  From the XPER/EPIC reports, the charge reviewer is responsible for completing an individual medical record review on all procedures and confirming all charges are accurate and in accordance with revenue policies.  The daily objective is to complete the previous day’s accounts.  Emails are sent out to cath lab clinical staff with discrepancies to reconcile any differences, ensuring optimal charge capture. 

Your Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required and some college preferred.
• Six months prior experience preferably in a procedural area with history of cardiovascular charge capture experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular charge capture rules and regulations preferred.
• Prior work history with EPIC required.
• Six months prior experience with medical terminology required. 
• Must be well organized in their work.
