Pulmonary PA Needed in Dallas, TX

Methodist Medical Group (MMG) a premier physician-led organization affiliated with Methodist Health System in Dallas, Texas, is actively seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to work directly with patient care under the supervision and collaboration with our dynamic and tenured Pulmonologist.

Job Requirements: 

• Graduate of a PA accredited program
• Certified by the National board certification with NCCPA
• New Graduates are welcome to apply!
• Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as imaging, labs, and pulmonary function tests
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Provide patient and family education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications
• Assist with procedures such as chest tubes, thoracentesis and trach management, proctoring available
• Participate in the evaluation and management of patients with conditions such as asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary hypertension
• No bronchus, vents, or ICU coverage
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Participate in quality improvement and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Be accountable for your performance
• Always look for ways to improve the patient experience
• Be engaged, eager to learn, and take initiative for your professional growth
