Special Events Coordinator (Two Officer Positions)
The specific duties and responsibilities of the RHA Special Events Coordinators are to:
Become familiar with the policies and procedures regarding major programming within the University and to educate others about these policies.
Facilitate weekly meetings for the Special Events Committee unless deemed unnecessary.
Implement all RHA Special Events, four per semester, including but not limited to Welcome Back Dance, assisting with Family Day/Homecoming event, and Freeze Fest.
Both Special Events Coordinators must host one program a month and alternate between either the Bingo or Special Events program
One Special Events Coordinator will host one Pointers After Dark program a semester
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and evaluations of all special events programs.
Meet with the RHA Leadership Coach and President as deemed necessary.
Attend Pointers After Dark committee meetings as a voting member, or delegate to a different executive.
Commit an average of 10 hours per week to the position, eight of which must be held in the RHA office. RHA General Assembly and RHA Executive Board Meetings can count as one office hour each. Additional hours may be required as needed each week. Additional hours may include but are not limited to phone calls, e-mails, RHA program attendance, 1:1s, and committee work.
