Job Duties:
Minimum Qualifications:
STUDENT PAYROLL OFFICE USE ONLY
Official Pay Rate: $10/hour Hours per week: 5-25 hours
• Customer service and policy enforcement of Arena Facilities and Campus Recreation policies and procedures.
• Verify access to the facilities or program by checking identification and/or control desk computer system during
open hours
• Check in/out equipment including skates and other equipment using Innosoft Fusion.
• Work concessions stand during all home athletic events and large rentals, including setup, prep, sales, stocking,
cleaning of stands, and maintenance of concessions areas, stock room, and lobby.
• Greeting customers with positive attitude
• Providing information about the department of Campus Recreation and its programs
• Operation of the Innosoft Fusion for Point of Sale cash register, reservation scheduling system, and equipment check out
• Assist with special event setup, clean up, and tear down
• Maintaining lost and found
• Assist in handling all emergency situations including assisting injured participant and implement emergency
procedures as needed. Reports all accidents and incidents to student supervisor
• Perform general light duty maintenance and cleaning around the Arena
• Cleaning of fitness equipment and facility spaces to maintain a safe and sanitary environment

According to the Attorney General, ‘final candidates’ under Wisconsin law means the five candidates who are considered most qualified for the position. See Wis. Stat. Sec. 19.36(7)(a).
Employment will require a criminal background check, and if you have prior work history within the last seven years with Universities of Wisconsin or State of Wisconsin agencies, a personnel file review check for employee misconduct. It will also require your references to answer questions regarding employee misconduct, sexual violence and sexual harassment. The University reserves the right to check references with notice given to the candidates at the appropriate time in the process.
