Job Duties:
Minimum Qualifications:
STUDENT PAYROLL OFFICE USE ONLY
Official Pay Rate: $12/Hour Hours per week: 5-25
• Supervise Facility Attendants during daily hours of operation, 7 days a week during academic year
• Secure all building entry doors to open and close the Arena for open hours
• Attend staff trainings and weekly meetings as required
• Assist with training, supervising, and evaluating all Campus Recreation student staff in Arena
• Assist professional staff in event set up, clean up, and tear down
• Perform opening and closing procedures for Facility as scheduled
• Support of all home games for Men’s and Women’s Yellowjacket hockey events
• Report employee misconduct, tardiness, or other performance related concerns per the discipline policy
• Lead all policy enforcement and handle all incidents that may occur
• Act as main contact person for large events, outside rentals in absence of professional staff
• Assist in set up and operations for all Concession events to support Athletic events, large group rentals, ice and
dry floor rentals, and other Campus Recreation events.
• Responsible for cleaning of front office, weight room, lobby, Yellowjacket room, and concessions rooms.
• Notify proper authorities and full-time staff of all incidents, accidents, injuries and emergencies and complete
necessary paperwork for record keeping
• Maintain a positive, cooperative, and customer service-oriented attitude and maintain professional
atmosphere.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

According to the Attorney General, ‘final candidates’ under Wisconsin law means the five candidates who are considered most qualified for the position. See Wis. Stat. Sec. 19.36(7)(a).
Employment will require a criminal background check, and if you have prior work history within the last seven years with Universities of Wisconsin or State of Wisconsin agencies, a personnel file review check for employee misconduct. It will also require your references to answer questions regarding employee misconduct, sexual violence and sexual harassment. The University reserves the right to check references with notice given to the candidates at the appropriate time in the process.
