Job Summary:

The Student Intern Programmer will support the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications and tools for the App Factory under the guidance of professional staff and faculty. This role provides hands-on experience with real-world programming projects while strengthening technical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. The intern will contribute to ongoing projects, write clean and maintainable code, and gain exposure to the full software development lifecycle.
 
Job Description / Responsibilities

•    Assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications.

•    Collaborate with supervisors and team members to analyze requirements and implement solutions.

•    Write clear, well-documented, and efficient code following project standards.

•    Support the integration, testing, and deployment of software components.

•    Maintain version control using repository tools.

•    Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

•    Assist with user support, troubleshooting, and bug fixes as needed.

•    Document project work, including code, processes, and technical notes.

major degree program.


Completed Computer Science II or equivalent.
