This is a full-time, academic year (9 month), in-person teaching academic staff position. The successful candidate for this position will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in special education that prepare candidates to support students with a wide range of disabilities across educational settings. In addition, the position may include: (a) course development and instruction in the following areas: introduction to special education, assessment, curriculum, and methodology in teaching students with disabilities, transition planning, and working with teams and families with individuals with disabilities, (b) developing and maintaining collaborative and productive working relationships with local school systems, (c) advising, mentoring, professional development, and department service activities, and (d) student teaching supervision.

Salary commensurate with education and experience
This is fixed-term, exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act, 9-month Instructional Academic Staff position.
