Position Summary
• Responsible for sports medicine and rehabilitation care to the athlete in the clinic and during athletic practices and events.

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training

Licenses and Certification
• Illinois Athletic Trainer licensure or eligible
• BLS

Experience and Skills
• Technical Experience: N/A

Role Specific Responsibilities
• Performs thorough sports medicine assessment
• Develops appropriate Plan of Care
• Provides care to the athlete during organized athletic events
• Documentation is accurate, complete and timely
• Assists with coverage during staff shortages and periods of high census/workload.
• Implements preventive care instruction/programs for schools, parents and athletes
