What you’ll accomplish with us

As an Insurance Application Analyst, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our new business applications. Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing submitted applications for completeness and accuracy
• Making underwriting decisions on ‘final expense’ and ‘simplified issue’ applications within a $300k approval limit
• Conducting research using MVRs, criminal records, and vendor platforms to assess applicant coverage
• Monitoring agent business practices and identifying potential concerns
• Preparing agent correspondence and maintaining detailed case notes in the operating system
• Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company standards

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a solid understanding of life insurance products, plans, and applications
• Brings a friendly, positive, and learning-oriented attitude
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excels in problem-solving and thrives under pressure
• Is proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and can quickly learn internal systems
• Types at least 35 wpm with 90% accuracy
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Is highly organized and detail-oriented
• Is flexible to work overtime as needed
