Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide direct support to one of our Partners and assist the Tax team as needed. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior professionals in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous administrative experience in a CPA firm or professional services organization, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, especially during tax season.

A Day in the Life

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to a Partner, including calendar management, scheduling, travel coordination, and correspondence.

  • Assemble and prepare tax returns and related documents for delivery.

  • Prepare and format letters, forms, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Manage scanning projects and maintain organized electronic and physical files.

  • Maintain inventory of assembly and office supplies; order replacements as needed.

  • Provide back-up support to administrative staff as required.

  • Collaborate with the Tax team to assist with projects or tasks as needed, demonstrating a team-oriented approach.

  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related

  • Five (5) or more years of experience in an administrative or executive assistant role.

  • Prior experience working in a CPA firm or professional services environment preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Self-starter with a positive, professional attitude and strong sense of responsibility.

  • Ability to work extended hours during peak periods, particularly during tax season.

  • Professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
