The Vacancy
Qualifications:
• Must have 3 or more years of sales experience in electric power industry in order to be considered (electrical maintenance, electrical safety)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, Business/Engineering/Technical preferred
• Proven new business sales experience (hunter mentality)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and effective use of CRM
• Prefer working knowledge or experience with at least one of the following:
o Substations
o Circuit breakers
o Relay
o Cable
o Transformers
Duties:
• Inside sales activities including:
• Outbound Dialing
• Generating new opportunities
• Daily prospecting
• Existing customers – retain and grow revenues
• Pursue and close sales leads
• Responsible for attaining annual sales quota
• Limited overnight travel (i.e., tradeshows, customer visits)
• Portray AVO in a positive manner – professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, tact
• Work with Marketing Department:
• Reach more customers
• Messaging with prior customers
• Develop growth strategies
Additional Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Ability to work independently as well as within small teams.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task with ability to complete tasks on schedule.
• Strong organizational skills.

Travel Requirements:
• 2-3 business days trips, typically planned 1-2 weeks in advance
